MajesTea
combines the best of floor and gumlah fermentation systems. Tea
fed by a built-in feeder is dropped on to wide
stainless steel perforated trays. The trays travel
slowly and drop the tea at the discharge
end. A high speed brush is also provided to clean
any tea particles that may remain stuck to the trays. The tea is not "disturbed"
at any point.
The MajesTea
has a unique air flow system. Individual FRP Modules are aerodynamically
designed and fitted with special heavy
duty fans. These draw ambient humidified air and blow it through
the tea bed. In alternate modules the direction of
air reversed which helps in even fermentation. All essential
parameters are variable - the thickness of bed, fermenting
time and the volume of air delivered by each fan.

Drive
- A composite variable speed drive facilitates fermenting
time ranging from 30 to 110 minutes.
Low Height - The machine is horizontal and low in height-just
four and a half feet. Thus the Majestea is easy to supervise
and maintain. Watch your tea picking up a "tan" as it inches along.
Air Distribution - Each module is equipped with
an individual heavy duty, low powered
fan. Speed regulators for the fan are supplied to vary the quantum of
air as desired. This makes it possible to achieve the desired temperature
graph. No air ducts are required.
Cleaning Brush - A self cleaning high speed brush
cleans the trays as they drop. The brush can be
quickly removed for cleaning and refitted even while the machine is in
operation.
Centralised Controls - A composite control console is provided for
all starters, fan regulators, etc. The console can be suitably
positioned to give easy access and control of the machine to the tea maker.
Trays - The Majestea uses sturdy, six feet wide perforated stainless
steel trays allowing optimum volume of air through the
leaf spread. Stainless steel is also superior on thermal
conductivity, which is a vital characteristic of the ideal fermenting
surface.
Modular Construction - Modular FRP hoppers are provided for better
hygiene. It is possible to add or reduce
number of modules to match desired fermenting capacity and space.
Feed Conveyor - Majestea comes with an in-built full width feed conveyor
to ensure uniform feed across the entire width of the machine.
This conveyor can be either an extended tray feeder
or hygienic belt conveyor, depending upon the type of manufacture.

High
Output - The Majestea is modular in
construction, which enables the user to choose a
machine compatible to his requirement. Throughput
ranges between 1200 Kgs. of withered
leaf per hour in a 5-module machine to 2000 Kgs. in an 8-module machine.
Neat Design - No complicated drives, ducts, air chambers etc.
No Toppling - An even tea-bed is maintained without any disturbance
to the tea at any stage.
Hygiene - All parts are easily accessible for cleaning.
No accumulation or spillage of tea, like in enclosed or multi stage machines.
So Majestea is contamination and bacteria proof.
The return circuit of trays is exposed for better inspection and maintenance.
Low Recurring Costs - Steel Belt fermenter requires expensive
belt replacement in a few years. Majestea trays
will last many years. Individual trays can be replaced whenever necessary.
Minimum Handling - No ploughs, no rakes. The less the tea is
handled, the better the bloom, make and liquor.
No UV Lights - Besides being expensive and unnecessary, UV lights
are a health hazard.
Better Air Control - Individual fans in each module with speed regulators
in lieu of one common fan with ducts and dampers.
Ducting Eliminated - No overhead or
underground ducts. Installation is
possible even during manufacturing
season. Negligible civil work.
Versatile & Flexible - Only Fermenter suitable for
Orthodox also. Only Majestea offers flexible capacity by varying the number
of modules. |
